Dudu Manhenga was born in 1981 in Zimbabwe and first appeared on stage when she was 16.
In 2001, she founded the group Colour Blue with her husband Blessing Muparutsa. She’s the head of the Association and social commitment, in recognition of her work on behalf of women, to protect music copyright and against piracy.for Women in Performing Arts in Zimbabwe.
Her latest release is called “I have been embraced” and her style has been defined as an “afro jazz adventure”, a fusion of contemporary jazz, traditional rhythms and township jive.
